This 21cm neon voltage tester screwdriver is a simple, low-cost way to check for the presence of mains voltage when carrying out small electrical repairs. Touch the slotted tip to the terminal while holding the metal end cap, and the neon bulb in the clear insulated handle lights up on a live connection. It measures from 100V up to 500V AC and clips into a shirt pocket or tool pouch. For proving dead before work, always use an approved two-pole voltage indicator.
