Excellent repair. I had glass upstanding with metal box behind and lug had been shredded.Removed lug with junior hacksaw and filed smooth. Replacement lug fitted snugly over box side and existing screw held faceplate firm.All in all a clever fitting!

An electrician showed me these when he was doing some work on my lighting circuit and had to remove the switches, 3 lugs had been cross threaded.Fast forward a year and a half, we've just had our kitchen tiled and guess what, 4 boxes had all been cross threaded and I needed some of these. I purchased 10 and used 4, they're easy to install and if the silver part comes away from the black clip, they are not broken, they will go back together and are still as strong.
